Did you know that brown bears are also known as grizzly bears? They can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and stand over 9 feet tall when they stand on their hind legs. Brown bears are excellent swimmers and can even catch fish with their paws. They have a great sense of smell and can detect food from miles away. Brown bears are also very strong and can run up to 30 miles per hour!
